Martine Jullien was born in 1946 in Paris. Holder of an Agrégation higher degree in French Language, she has also a certificate for Japanese. Between1982 and 1990, she works with several producers. Between 1990 and 1993, she is a teacher at Ehime University (Japan). She produces two documentaries with support of French CNC and Ministry of Foreign Cultre: Ganbare: Japanese Education and Mothers' School.
