Fabien Baumann, film critic born in 1970, is one of the main contributor of Positif movie magazin. He has written over 600 articles since he joint the magazine in 2002. Amidst his most favorite cinemas, Romanian New Wave, US action movies (Aldrich, Penn, Peckinpah, Lumet), East European before and after the fall of the wall, history of war movies and erotism in cinema such as in recent Korean movies (Hong Sang-soo, Lee Chang-dong or Jang Sun-woo). He teaches History and aestheticism of the cinema at Conservatoire libre du cinéma français à Paris.
