Fumiari Hyuga joint first independent television production company ‘Documentary Japan’ in 2006. His short film Tokyo Kurds has been selected for HOT DOCS Films Festival (2018), won the Excellence Award in TokyoDocs Short Documentary showcase (2017) and received the most accomplished award for TV Journalism, Galaxy Awards (2018).
