Yuval Adler studied Mathematics and Physics at Tel Aviv University and later received a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Columbia University. Yuval also studied sculpture and photography before switching full time to writing and directing film. In 2006, he directed his first short movie, Seduction. Bethlehem is his debut feature.
