Andrew Lau (Lau Wai-keung) was born in 1960 in Hong Kong. He is a Hong Kong film director, cinematographer and producer. A highly prolific filmmaker, Lau has made popular films in a variety of genres and is most notable in the West for his Infernal Affairs trilogy.
