Antoine de Mena has focused his 2005 thsis work about Japanese director Teinosuke KINUGASA (1898-1982). He is currently preparing his DEA certificate in Japanese and film studies in both Inalco and Paris III. He also started research about Japanese director Sadao Yamanaka (1909-1938) and his long feature Humanity and Paper Balloons (1937).
