Marie Carmagnolle graduated fro Chinese Languages, has a DULCO in Nepalese and is currently doctorate in anthropology of Chinese world. She accompanied Inalco members back in 2001, 2002 and 2006 and interviewed - amidst others - Zhong Qiang (2002), Hou Hsiao Hsien (2006), Nemaï Ghosh (2002) and Bengali director Buddhadeb Dasgupta in 2006.
