Marzieh Meshkini is an Iranian director born in Tehran in 1969. She is Mohsen Makhmalbaf's spouse. She learnt filmmaking within Makhmalbaf Film House. She is an assistant director for her daughter-in-law Samira Makhmalbaf's movies The Apple and Blackboards and for Mohsen Makhmalbaf's features The Silence. She also wrote script for her daughter Hana Makhmalbaf's movie Buddha Collapsed out of shame.
