François-Xavier Durandy teaches hindi at Inalco. He is a professionnal translator and subtitled a dozen long-features, amidst others fiction features from Guru Dutt, Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar. Intererested in all Asian Cinemas, he loves to dream about Istanbul and Kabul...and often comes to visit Vesoul. At Inalco, he is in charge of the Oriental translators group and supervises - amidst others - all interviews done during VIFFAC.
