Stéphane Ly-Cuong was born in 1972 in Eaubonne. After graduating from Film School and after one year of studies at Brooklyn College (New York), he directed several short video movies selected and rearded in several national and international Film Festivals. In 1999, réalise quelques courts métrages en vidéo, est sélectionné et primé dans divers festivals en France et à l'étranger. En 1999, he directs a short musical movie, The Turtle and the Maiden. Other than his work as a director, he is also a critic for muscial comedies in various magazines.
