Asil Rais is a stage director, filmmaker, script wirter and author. He lives in France for past 30 years. He shot his first short movie, Shruti, in Temples of Maharashtra.
Before living in France, he was a stage director in Mumbai. As an actor, he worked under direction of Ariane Mnouchkine, Peter Brook and Roman Polanski.
