Juan Robles Lana was born in Makati, Philippines in 1972. He graduated in communication from Santa Tomas Faculty. He became the youngest winner of Palanca Awards for Literature. He wrote the script of In the Navel of the sea, which got selected in Berlin and awarded in Brussel. He worked a lot as a scriptwriter.
