Anysay Keola was born and grew up in Lao P.D.R. After studies in Australia, he codirects Forests for our Future, which received the Best Documentary in Mekong Sub-region Environmental Film Award in Cambodia in 2007. Granted a scholarship, he successfully graduated Master of Arts in Film, Department of Motion Pictures and Still Photography, Faculty of Communication Arts, Chulalongkorn University in 2012. His thesis movie At the Horizon got a successful Lao theater release and has been shown in various International film festivals.
