Denitza Bantcheva publishes since 1981, in Bulgaria, poems and short stories. Settled in Paris in 1991, doctor of modern letters, she is a lecturer and collaborates with various periodicals. She is the author of novels, stories, poems and works of cinema, including the reference monographs, Jean-Pierre Melville: from work to man, René Clément and Un florilège de Joseph Losey. She is a member of several juries in literature and cinema. She is on the editorial board of the magazine Positif.
