François Bibonne spent fifteen months in Vietnam exploring the country of his grandmother, Thérèse Nguyen Thi Koan. Passionate about classical music and a history graduate, he is fascinated by Vietnam's historical roots in classical music. He then shot his first documentary Once Upon a Bridge in Vietnam in 2020-2021. Then, he launched his company, Studio Thi Koan. He is also resident in the new incubator for young European talent at Arte TV in Paris.
