A young monk is quietly bringing back a sacred sword to his venerated master, when a samouraï challenges him. The young monk begs for mercy and promises the samouraï he will come back once his mis sion is over. The old master orders the young monk to keep his word and sends him back to confront the samouraï. The young monk is despaired while walking towards his own death, even though his master taught him how to die well.
