Sophie Brédier was born in South Korea and adopted by a French family when she was four and a half. She is now pregnant and this event has shaken her social and personal identity. How can she give birth to a child when she does not know anything about her own ori gin and feels she is a foreigner within her own body ? This inner journey makes her reflect on her physical difference and roots, on her links with her relatives while she recalls her childhood with the double belonging, French and Korean. What if she ultimately found the words to pass on to her child...

After Our silent traces and Separated which recalled the suffering from past, Foreign Bodies is the last part of a personal quest, an attempt to reconcile with the world and find one’s own place.
