Fifty years ago, Nashui had to leave Turkey, his native land. Today, as he just came back home, Selim, his nephew, is about to leave for USA. Young Russian Olga left her country for Istanbul searching for her father, a captain, she hardly got a chance to know. She is told he left for Sidney. She is the victim of an aggression while she is trying to get the necessary money for Australia and this when Nashui meets her. The three of them go to Aegean, the village Nashui had left fifty years before. The olive trees and the stone house Selim has inherited from his parents are the only possible shelter for Nashui. But this is the only wealth Selim can rely on to build a new life in USA. He has to take a difficult decision : either sell his property or leave it to Nashui who longs to find his roots?
