When Lai Yiu-fai and Ho Po-wing left Hong Kong to go to Argentina, they were still in love. But something went wrong while they travelled towards south in search of adventures. One day, when they were on the road, Ho Po-wing left his lover. Lai went back to Buenos Aires where he works as a barker in a tango bar. He has tried to save enough money for his return ticket. Ho reappears in his life after he had a fight and got wounded. Lai welcomes him at home but refuses to be his lover again. Ho gets bored at home and spends his nights outside. Lai has dropped his job. He works now in the kitchen of a Chinese restaurant where he meets Chang, a young Chinese from Taiwan who becomes his friend. Without being aware of it, Lai has changed. As for Ho, he carries on wasting his life.
