In Hung Trach village by the river So, actors performing the Hat Tuong, a kind of traditional opera, stop all rural activities to meet at the headquarters of the village popular committee. The villagers have been living with the Hat Tuong tradition for about a century. Far from being professional and despite their torn clothes, these peasants turn into princes and princesses on stage.
