Okano, a teacher freshly appointed in an elementary school, wonders if he has not chosen the most difficult work on earth. He noticed that one of his pupils is having family problems.
Akiko leaves the supermarket without paying for her purchase. The old lady feels the first signs of Alzheimer disease. She becomes friendly with a young boy mentally disabled.
Masami’s husband works abroad, she lives on her own with their only daughter. She has a secret she cannot share with anyone. She is often violent with Ayane, thinking that everybody does the same. In the park, she meets a neighbour who has a quite different kind of relationship with children.
