The massive palm oil production has created a massive deforestation in Indonesia. Every year, two million hectares of forest disappear. Entire ecosystems are endangered. Orangutan are threatened to disappear and many indigenous communities have their lands confiscated by powerful palm oil corporations. In order to try and grasp at the reality in this Asian country crossed by the Equator, we meet NOGs and people doing fieldwork actions to put a spanner in this phenomenon not limited to Indonesia; they make us see a glimmer of hope with possible solutions.
